Reservations
All reservations must be made with a credit card with a 50 % deposit taken. In absence of this information all bookings will be treated as a non-guaranteed reservation.

Cancellations
Any cancellation of a reservation should be made at least 7 days in advance. No cancellation charge will be occurred in this instance. If the cancellation is made within the 7 days notice, then a 100% charge will be incurred for holding room/s with insufficient notice of cancellation. If a guest fails to cancel a reservation and the guest fails to arrive then the full charge will be incurred.

Check In/Check Out
The person registering at Check In must be at least 18 years of age. In addition, to eliminate identity/credit card fraud, the Waitomo Caves Hotel will ask you to provide a photo ID and your credit card to ensure that your identity/credit card matches the booking identity and credit card information supplied. A record and/or copy of this photo ID and credit card number may be retained by the Waitomo Caves Hotel to minimize the
risk of fraudulent credit card usage and for verification purposes with your credit card provider in the event of disputation.

Check-in is available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Standard Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure.  Early check-in and/or late is available by arrangement only. Late check-out without arrangement made with management will incur a charge of $25 every half hour.

Visitors/Pets
No visitors are allowed in rooms after 9pm. Any damage to the rooms or property will incur appropriate charges by the guest. For the comfort of other guests, No Pets are allowed in rooms.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms at the Waitomo Caves Hotel. Any guest found to be smoking in the rooms will be charged a fee for cleaning costs.
